4wd, ATVs, quads and other Vehicles
Different vehicles are used by sand riders depending on the competition and a number of other factors.
Among the list of such vehicles are the ATV’s otherwise known as All-Terrain Vehicles which are made by a number of manufacturers in the industry such as Arctic Cat, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki.
Different kinds of All-Terrain Vehicles include the 3-wheeler versions and the 4-wheeler versions. Among the motorcycles used in sand riding activity include, Yamaha and other manufacturers such as Honda. Sand riders use special motorcycles which are known as dirt bikes and which come with special modifications to help them cope with the sandy terrain.
